A woman and
two children lost their lives in another shipwreck close to the Greek
island Lesbos. At least 12 missing.
At around
06:00 in the morning, a plastic boat with 60 people on board capsized
when it fell on the rocks because of the stormy winds blowing in the
area at Kara Tepe, a few kilometers north of the island. Forty-five
people were able to go ashore. Most of them were Afghan refugees.
A helicopter
and an offshore boat are researching the area. The weather conditions
are particularly difficult with very strong winds. Authorities are
conducting research on shore in case that some refugees were able to
swim there.
